Mark Redfern, owner of Redfern Heat Pumps, grew up in New Zealand, which is where his passion for renewables first started. NZ is an extremely green and eco-friendly country, where he was taught from a young age, to take care of the environment, and use less waste.
After a successful career in the Royal Marines, then a Private Military Company in Baghdad, he trained as a plumber.
Mark is a Gas Safe Registered Domestic & Commercial Gas Engineer, installing not only traditional gas and LPG Boilers, but specialising in Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps in Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall.
